Details of IOE Entrance Exam 2074/2017

IOE Entrance Result 2074/2017 has been published!!!

Entrance Examination Board of Institute of Engineering (IOE) has published detailed notice regarding entrance exam for Bachelor in Engineering (BE) and Bachelor in Architecture (B.Arch) for academic year 2074/075. The entrance exam is gateway of admission in various TU constituent and affiliated engineering colleges in Nepal for different streams of engineering.There are 4 constituent (Pulchowk, Thapathali, Western & Eastern) and 10 affiliated private engineering colleges in various parts of the country.

Minimum Requirement for Application

Candidate must have passed grade 12 or equivalent exam from HSEB or A Level or Diploma with at-least 45% marks or attended the exams (those waiting for result can apply). He/she should have attended 200 marks exam of Mathematics in the exams.

IOE Entrance Exam Date

The IOE Entrance exam will start from 15th of Shrawan in various shifts based on the applicant’s symbol number.

IOE Entrance Exam Venue

All of the exams will be held at ICTC, Pulchowk Campus, Lalitpur.

How to fill online application form

Interested applicant can submit application form from the official website of Entrance Exam Board, entrance.ioe.edu.np from Ashadh 29th 10 a.m. to Shrawan 10th, 2074 – 5 p.m.

What is required for online form submission

• Applicant’s name, birth date, father’s and mother’s name, permanent address
•  SLC, +2 or equivalent exam detail
• Color digital photo of size 300*300 pixel
• Bank voucher number which can be obtained after depositing exam fee Rs. 2000 on any branch of Siddhartha Bank Ltd. account number: 00915056064. You can submit online application after 2/3 hrs doing the deposit.
• Scanned copy of any identification document (Citizenship card, voter card, passport, traffic license or +2/diploma/ or equiv. exam admit card)

After completing exam form fill-up

After providing all of the above credentials, the form will be submitted and the system provides acknowledgement paper which should be printed and saved for future reference too. If you missed to print at the time, it can be obtained later from review page by submitting your last name, DOB and identification document number.

Exam Type & Marking Scheme

• The exam will be fully computer based which will have full marks of 100.
• All questions will be objective with 4 choices for each.
• Questions are asked from English, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Engineering Aptitude.
• 2 hours will be given to each candidate in the IOE Entrance Exam

Fee Structure in Engineering Colleges

There are two types of admission schemes in IOE Constituent Colleges: Regular and Full pay. In TU affiliated private engineering colleges, 10% of total seats are provided with IOE scholarship which will be equivalent to regular scheme as in constituent colleges.
